HAROLD ARLEN: AN-ALL STAR TRIBUTE

In 1965 Dinah Shore hosted a tribute to Harold Arlen on The Bell Telephone Hour. Duke Ellington and his Orchestra, Gordon MacRae, Leslie Uggams & Gretchen Wyler were the musical guests. Twenty-three of Arlen’s classic songs are performed, including “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” with Arlen at the piano. Color, 60 min.
